The Original Style of Ann Bonfoey Taylor is being featured now at the Phx Art Museum showcasing more than 60 full ensembles and accessories that provide a comprehensive look at the wardrobe of a dynamic and sophisticated woman...

Ann Bonfoey Taylor was selected as one of Harper's Bazaar 100 Great Beauties of the World in 1967 and featured in the pages of Harper's Bazaar, Town and Country, and Vogue from the 1930s to the 1970s. Taylor posed for prominent photographers such as Slim Aarons, Louise Dahl-Wolfe, Toni Frissell, Bob Richardson, and Edward Steichen. In the 1940s, her skiwear designs under the label Ann Cooke were featured in many top fashion magazines. Through the 1970s, she assembled a custom-made couture wardrobe by the most gifted designers including Balenciaga, James Galanos, Madame Grès, Givenchy, and Charles James, along with custom-designed sportswear tailored to her specifications for every activity she participated in. She brought her careful eye for fashion to all pursuits, making her a truly unique individual, designer and taste maker.
